Quite honestly we didn’t know what to expect when we took the prototype Sparrow EV to it’s first big auto show in 1996.
Not only was it quite unique visually, it was likely to be one of the only electric vehicles in the whole show. Besides, this little would be car company was going to be in the same show as the big boys… Ford, GM, Toyota and all the others. That’s pulling a pretty big rabbit out of a very small hat.
As you can see from the clipping, sometimes doing things a bit differently pays off. This little EV was garnering attention like crazy and people wouldn’t stop asking “Are you going to be selling these? When?”
