Selected Volkswagen Passat (USA) engine and transmission combinations include the gasoline 1.8 MT, which gives you manual gear control, and the gasoline 2.5 AT, which shifts automatically. The diesel 2.0 DSG uses a dual-clutch gearbox that also handles shifting for you. All three examples have front-wheel drive.
