The McLaren 600LT engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre gasoline V8 sitting behind the seats, as in the 3.8 DSG Coupe and Roadster examples. Both send power rearward through a robotic dual-clutch transmission, a drivetrain layout that delivers rapid shifts without interrupting acceleration.
