The Dodge Viper engine is a naturally aspirated 8.0-litre V10 running on gasoline, as in the 8.0 MT Coupe. Its powertrain sends drive rearward through a six-speed manual, so there is no automatic option; huge low-rev torque means you rarely need to work the gearbox hard.
