The first-generation Mitsubishi Colt comes in three-door and five-door body styles. If you regularly carry rear-seat passengers, the five-door layout makes getting in and out easier.
The 1.2 MT versions illustrate a Mitsubishi Colt engine and transmission pairing offered in both body styles: gasoline power, a manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. You select the gears yourself, with a lower gear helping the engine respond when climbing a hill or preparing to overtake.
