The fifth-generation Nissan Fairlady Z returned the nameplate to its sports car roots, offering a snug two-seat Coupe and an open-air Roadster built around front-engine, rear-wheel-drive proportions and a naturally aspirated V6.
The Nissan Fairlady Z engine here is a naturally aspirated 3.5-litre petrol V6, which pulls strongly from low revs without the lag of forced induction. The 3.5 AT Roadster pairs it with an automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive; manual gearboxes were also offered across the range.
