Mitsubishi Montero Engines and Transmissions

Mitsubishi Montero engine choices include gasoline and diesel options. Selected three-door examples include the gasoline 3.5 AT, whose automatic eases driving in traffic, and the 3.5 MT for drivers who prefer choosing gears themselves. The five-door diesel 3.2 MT combines manual control with the low-rev pulling character typical of diesel engines. All three examples have all-wheel drive to help traction on loose surfaces.
