Steering wheel buttons act on systems the driver never touches directly: each press sends a command down the wheel's wiring, stepping audio or computer readouts one increment at a time while both hands stay on the rim.

Safety and Driver Assistance

Emergency brake assist assists rather than protects or informs. It reads how fast the pedal is pressed and, when that suggests panic braking, raises hydraulic pressure to full force instead of applying the brakes on its own.
