Corbin invented the single sided, electric drive swingarm in 1995. This configuration offers favorable weight placement of the motor and convenient interchangeability of all three wheels.

Incorporates our highly efficient HPEV 3-phase 30KW AC synchronous motor as a structural member of the swingarm assembly. In our current configuration the Sparrow drive puts out 30 hp which will motivate her from 0 – 60 mph in just 9 seconds. Top speed is programmable and currently set to 80 mph. Naturally the system includes regenerative braking to maximize range.

Drives the rear wheel through a Gates belt drive with integrated tensioner. Stopping power includes hydraulic and mechanical rear disc brake.
